Sangria Seca is the classic non-alcoholic cocktail that can be served for summer evenings or in place of more traditional sangrias.
Ingredients:
480ml tomato juice
225ml orange juice
75ml lime juice
12.5ml Tabasco sauce
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 jalapeño chilli, finely chopped
celery salt, to taste
freshly-ground white pepper, to taste
cracked ice
Garnishes:
None
Serving Glass
Rock Glass (also known as a Tumbler or 'Old Fashioned' glass)
Method:
Combine the tomato juice, orange juice, lime juice, Tabasco sauce and Worcestershire sauce in a pitcher. Stir in the chilli then season to taste with celery salt and white pepper. Cover with clingfilm (plastic wrap) and set in the refrigerator to chill for at least an hour.
To serve, half fill your tumblers with cracked ice then strain the cocktail mix over them and serve immediately.
