This is a continuation of an entire series of pages that will, I hope, allow my visitors to better navigate this site. As well as displaying recipes by name, country and region of origin I am now planning a whole series of pages where recipes can be located by meal type and main ingredient. This page gives a listing of all the Panettone recipes added to this site.

These recipes, all contain Panettone as a major wild food ingredient.

Panettone is a large, round yeasted fruit cake from Italy, traditionally eaten at Christmas and Easter. These are baked in a special tubular mould that gives the cake height.

Panettone can be served by itself as a dessert, accompanied by sweet wine or it can be toasted and buttered. It also makes a truly wonderful bread and butter pudding.
