Jerk Kebabs is a traditional Jamaican recipe for a classic kebab of meat marinated in jerk marinated threaded onto skewers with mushrooms, onions and orange wedges before being barbecued to cook. The full recipe is presented here and I hope you enjoy this classic Jamaican version of: Jerk Kebabs.
Whisk together the oil and marinade in a bowl. Add the meat mixture and marinade for at least 4 hours (best over night). When done, thread the meat cubes onto kebab skewers, alternating with the mushrooms, orange wedges and onion (if using bamboo skewers, soak in water beforehand).
Place on a hot barbecue, turning and basting with left-over marinade until the meat is cooked through. Serve on a bed of rice, accompanied by a green salad.
