Ingredients:

1.8kg minced beef
3 tbsp butter
220g onions, chopped
2 garlic cloves, crushed
4 tbsp chilli powder
3 beef stock cubes
1 1/2 tsp paprika
1 tsp dried oregano, crumbled
1 tsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
120ml beef stock
440g tinned tomatoes
240g tomato purée
1.5kg cooked red kidney beans (tinned is fine)

Method:

Heat the butter in a large frying pan and use to brown the beef. Pour off the fat then add the beef to a crockpot and combine with all the remaining ingredients, stirring well.

Cover and cook on low for between 8 and 10 hours. Serve on a bed of rice.
