The ingredients for this recipe can be a little variable, depending on what's available at the time and the current blend is influenced by my introduction of some curry-derived flavours — which is a typical Dakaroise twist on the basic recipe.

Method:

Simply combine all the ingredients together in an air-tight jar and use as needed. My wife tends to make this in 500g batches and there's always a large tub of it lying around the house. Not only is it a crucial ingredient in pepper soups, but it's also used for flavouring all meats and grilled fish.
