Kebbe bi Saynyeh (Kebbe bi Saynyeh) is a traditional Lebanese recipe for a classic dish of kebbe or kibbeh that are finished by cooking in an oven. The full recipe is presented here and I hope you enjoy this classic Lebanese version of: Baked Kebbe (Kebbe bi Saynyeh).
Prepare the kebbe/kibbeh according to the recipe, up until the end of the point where they are shaped and filled (do not cook them).
Take the raw kebbe and arrange in a firm layer on a baking tray (or in a cake tin) then score in an attractive pattern before placing in the centre of an oven pre-heated to 180°C. Bake for about 40 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
Remove cut into diamond patterns using the previous score marks.
Serve hot, accompanied by a green salad and a dip made by blending the cucumber, crumbled Feta cheese, garlic and mint with the yoghurt.
