Tacos de Comida Callejera (Mexican Street-food Tacos)
Tacos de Comida Callejera (Mexican Street-food Tacos) is a traditional Mexican recipe for a classic street food taco of flour tortialas with a carne asada filling served topped with onion, coriander and lime juice. In a medium bowl, combine the soy sauce, lime juice, 1 tbsp oil, garlic, chilli powder, cumin and oregano.
In a large Ziploc bag or large bowl, combine soy sauce mixture and steak; marinate for at least 1 hour up to 4 hours, turning the bag occasionally.
Heat the remaining 1 tbsp oil in a large cast iron pan over medium high heat. Add the steak and marinade, and cook, stirring often, until steak has browned and marinade has reduced, (about 5-6 minutes), or until the meat reaches your desired level of doneness.
Serve the steak mixture wrapped in warmed tortillas, topped with onion, coriander and lime.
