Ingredients:

800g yams, peeled, cut into rounds and sliced into wedges
60ml oil
salt

Method:

Cut the yams into 1.5cm wedges. Heat the oil in a wok until very hot. Season the yam wedges with salt and fry until done.

Store in paper bags and use as a snack or as an accompaniment to a main meal.
