This is a traditional Pakistani condiment that, is both mildly spicy (due to the chilli) but also slightly cooking due to the herbs and yoghurt. It’s an interesting combination and goes very well with grilled and roasted meats.
Ingredients:
1 Green Chilli, coarsely chopped
Handful of Fresh Mint Leaves
Handful of Fresh Coriander
250ml Plain Yoghurt
1 Garlic Clove, peeled and crushed
Sea salt, to taste
Method:
Combine the green chilli, mint, coriander, garlic clove and 5 tbsp of the yoghurt in a mixing bowl. Using a stick blender process until smooth. Add the remaining yoghurt and salt and mix well to combine.
Serve. If desired you can make ahead and store in the refrigerator.
