Ingredients:
300g beef strips
1 Large Onion, sliced
3 Beef Oxo Cubes, crumbled
1/2 Bay Leaf
Salt and freshly-ground black Pepper
200g of Peas
Method:
Heat a little oil in a pan. Once hot add the onion and fry for about 5 minutes until soft. Now add in the beef strips and fry for 2 minutes more.
Sprinkle 2 of the OXO cubes over the meat and onions. Stir to combine then pour in enough water to cover everything. Add in the bayleaf and stir once more.
Add in the peas (diced carrots also work) and stir to combine. Bring to a simmer, cover and cook for about 30 minutes, or until the meat is tender.
If desired, you can blend in 2 tsp cornflour mixed with 2 tbsp water at this point to act as a thickener.
Serve accompanied by rice, mashed potato or chips (fries).
