Gadewch y siwin yn gyfan, dim ond tynnu'r perfeddion a'i olchi'n dda sydd eisiau. Wedyn rhwbiwch y pysgodyn â halen, y tu mewn a'r tu allan. Llenwch du mewn y pysgodyn â dil neu berlysiau ffres eraill. Rhowch y pysgodyn i goginio mewn ffwrn ar wres canolog am 30 munud. Rhowch y siwin ar blât fawr, wedi'i thwymo, a'i fwyta gyda thatws wedi eu berwi a phys.

English Translation
Sewin is the Welsh sea trout. The flesh is pink and salmon like and on the coast of Cardigan Bay this is often the first choice for the main course for a St David's day meal.
Leave the sewin whole and simply gut it and wash well. Rub the fish with salt inside and out. Fill the inside of the fish with the dill or other fresh herbs. Bake in a medium hot oven for 30 minutes. Put the cooked sewin on a large, warmed serving platter and serve with boiled potatoes and peas.
