50g siwgwr
1 llwy fwrdd o flawd corn
300ml o hufen dwbwl
50g o gnau Ffrengig, wedi torri'n fân
50g o siocled, wedi gratio
50g o geirios, wedi torri'n fân
1 llwy fwrdd o wirod oren
bisgedi Amaretti, i weini

Dull:

Torrwch blaenau'r orenau i ffwrdd a tynnwch allan y pwlp (byddwch yn ofalusi beidio torri croen yr orenau) yna gwasgwch y sudd trwy ridyll mân i sosban. Gweithiwch ychydig o'r siwgwr a'r blawd corn i fewn i'r sudd oren nes yn llyfn yna dewch a'r cyfan i ferwi, gan droi'n gyson. Tynnwch oddi-ar y gwrês cyn ychwanegu'r gwirod oren. Rhannwch y saws hwn rhwng yr orenau a gosodwch o'r neilltu. Ychwanegwch yr hufen i fowlen a chwipiwch nes yn stiff yna plygwch i fewn y cnau Ffrengig, y siocled a'r ceirios. Stwffiwch y gymysgedd i fewn i'r orenau yna gosodwch o'r neilltu yn yr oergell i oeri am o leiaf 60 munud. Gwieniwch wedi oeri'n drwyadl ynghyd â bisgedi Amaretti.

English Translation


Ingredients:

4 oranges
50g sugar
1 tbsp cornflour (cornstarch)
300ml double cream
50g walnuts, finely chopped
50g chocolate, grated
50g cherries, finely chopped
1 tbsp orange liqueur
Amaretti biscuits, to accompany

Method:

Remove the tops of the oranges, scoop out the pulp (be careful not to damage the skins) then squeeze the juice through a fine-meshed sieve into a saucepan. Work in a little sugar and the cornflour, until smooth, then bring to a boil, stirring constantly.

Take off the heat and stir in the orange liqueur. Divide the resulting sauce between the oranges and set aside.

Add the cream to a bowl and beat until stiff then fold in the walnuts, chocolate and cherries. Stuff this mixture into the orange skins then set aside in the refrigerator to chill for at least 60 minutes.

Serve well chilled, accompanied by Amaretti biscuits.
