Thyme Bomb Drummers is a modern British recipe for a classic dish of chicken drumsticks marinated in a mix of tomato puree, white wine vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, oil and thyme that are either baked or barbecued and make and excellent snack for Bonfire Night. Take a sharp knife and cut two deep slashes in each drumstick. Now whisk together the tomato purée, thyme, white wine vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, mustard and olive oil in a bowl to make the marinade. Place the drumsticks in a large bowl, pour over the marinade then cover and refrigerate for 4 hours.
After this time, remove the drumsticks from the marinade and either bake or grill for about 25 minutes, or until tender and cooked through.
