Costus root is used in the production of a traditional digestive and respiratory support tea. This is warm, soothing tea is used to ease digestive discomfort and respiratory congestion.
Ingredients:
1 tsp of dried Costus root (powdered or finely-pounded in a mortar)
1 cup of boiling water
1 tsp of raw honey.
Method:
Add the root powder to a cup of boiling water. Cover and let it steep for 10ߝ15 minutes.
Strain the mixture, stir in the honey, and drink warm.
