Ingredients:
For the Fish:
2 x 220g thinly-sliced tuna steaks
1 1/2 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
1 tbsp lime juice
sea salt and freshly-ground black pepper, to taste
For the Dill and Caper Dressing:
4 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
2 tbsp dill, chopped
2 tsp capers in vinegar, chopped
1/2 tsp freshly-grated lime zest
sea salt, to taste
Method:
For the fish, combine the oil, lime juice and seasonings in a non-metallic bowl. Add the tuna and coat in this marinade. Cover with clingfilm (plastic wrap) and refrigerate for 10 minutes.
In the meantime, prepare the dressing by combining the oil, dill, capers, lime zest and salt in a small bowl. Set aside until needed.
When the tuna has marinated cook on a pre-heated barbecue for about 5 minutes per side, or until cooked through (it should be pink on the inside). Arrange on plates, spoon over the dressing and serve with a potato salad.
