Ingredients:
1 (22cm) uncooked pie case
90g chopped semi-dried figs
180g chopped pecans
90g granulated sugar
1 tbsp cornflour
1 tsp vanilla extract
3 eggs, beaten
1 cup white corn syrup
Method:
Mix together the cornflour and sugar in a bowl. Add the syrup, vanilla extract and eggs and mix well. Add the pecans and figs then pour the mixture into the pie case.
Place in an oven pre-heated to 150°C (300°F/Gas Mark 2) and bake for about 45 minutes.
