Ingredients:
2 tbsp avocado leaf powder
1 tbsp ground cumin
1 tbsp ground coriander seeds
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp sea salt
Method:
In a small bowl, whisk together all ingredients until evenly combined. Spoon into a jar and seal with an air-tight lid.
This spice blend will keep in a cool, dark, cupboard for up to 3 months.
The spice blend works well as rub for chicken, pork, fish or tofu before barbecuing, grilling or roasting.
It can also be used as a flavouring, sprinkled over roasted potatoes, popcorn, or steamed vegetables for a fragrant twist.
I also use this blend as an alternative form of taco seasoning.
