This page gives a listing of all the Ketjap Manis recipes added to this site.

These recipes, all contain Ketjap Manis as a major wild food ingredient.

Ketjap Manis (also known as kecap manis) is similar to a very dark and rich soy sauce but it's sweeter in flavour. It is generally used in marinades, as a condiment or as an ingredient in Indonesian cooking.

Unlike soy sauce it contains palm sugar and may have other flavourings such as garlic and star anise. Ketjap Mais is the ancestor of all ketchups and the name 'ketchup' is derived from this sauce.
