Argan oil is believed to rank amongst the world's rarest cooking oils and derives from the nuts of the Argan tree (Argania spinosa) which is indigenous to Morocco. Argan is related to olive but has a very distinct flavour all its own.
Argan oil can be drizzled over food before serving or stirred into soups, couscous and tagines. It has numerous health benefits and is also used as a skincare product.
