Here is a basic garlic bread with several variants so you can make it your way.

Ingredients:

1 demi baguette
12 tbsp carrier oil (eg butter, vegan butter, olive oil, rapeseed oil)
3 garlic cloves, finely chopped
4 tbsp three-cornered leeks and/or wild garlic (ramsons) or garlic chives (or any blend)
Salt and freshly-ground black pepper, to taste

Method:

Pre-heat your oven (or air-fryer) to 180C (360F).

Slice the demi baguette into rounds about 2cm (1 in) thick, slicing through the bread but not quite cutting all the way through.

In a bowl, mix together your choice of carrier, garlic and wild garlic-flavoured greens (or garlic chives) and season to taste (if you’re using salted butter or vegetarian butter you may not need to add extra salt). Divide the mixture and stuff between the bread slices.

Once done cover in cooking foil and transfer to your oven. Bake for 15-20 minutes, until the bread is golden and hot and the filling has melted. If cooking in an air fryer, divide the bread into two halves, cover each in foil and place in your air fryer basket. Cook for about 10-12 minutes, until golden brown and piping hot.

Allow the bread to cool slightly then unwrap and serve.
