This is a ridiculously easy to make fudge given that late spring/early summer touch by the inclusion of bright blue cornflower petals.
Ingredients:
600g white chocolate, chopped
400g tin of sweetened condensed milk
2 tbsp unsalted butter
2 tbsp blue cornflower petals
1⁄4 tsp salt
Method:
Line the base and sides of a 20 x 20cm tin with greaseproof (waxed) paper.
Combine the white chocolate pieces, condensed milk, butter, and salt in a medium-sized saucepan over medium-low heat.
Cook, stirring continuously, until the mixture is well-combined and the chocolate has almost completely melted. Take off the heat and continue to stir until all the chocolate has melted.
At this point stir in the cornflower petals, ensuring that they are evenly distributed.
Pour the chocolate mixture into the lined tin. Tap the tin several times on your work surface to spread the mixture evenly. Allow to cool, then transfer to your refrigerator and chill for at least 2-3 hours, or until fully set.
Dip a sharp knife in hot water and slice the fudge into 16 squares then serve.
