Ingredients:
4 tbsp Butter
300g Marshmallows
60g Rice Krispie cereals
60g green-tinted coconut (mix flaked coconut with a little green food colouring and water to achieve the effect)
your choice of filling: miniature marshmallows, jelly beans, chocolate eggs, smarties, M&Ms etc.
Method:
Add the butter to a pan and melt over low heat. Stir-in the marshmallows and continue cooking, stirring constantly, until melted. Continue cooking for 3 minutes after this point, again stirring constantly.
Take off the heat and stir in the Rice Krispies and the coconut. Stir briskly until thoroughly mixed then allow to cool slightly before shaping the mixture into nests about 9cm in diameter (you should have about 15). Place on greaseproof (waxed) paper and set aside to cool and harden thoroughly.
Once ready fill the nests with your desired mix of chocolates and sweets (candies).
