Method:

Place the dry baking mix in a bowl and add just enough water to bring the mixture together as a soft dough. Form into a ball then turn out onto a lightly-floured work surface knead lightly the roll out to about 1.2cm thick. Cut circles with a plain 6cm round pastry cutter and transfer these to a lightly-greased baking tray.

Place in an oven pre-heated to 210°C and bake for about 10 minutes, or until lightly golden. Allow to cool for 5 minutes on the baking tray then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Serve smothered in butter with a good cup of tea.
