Ingredients:

200g Chocolate Wafers
30g cocoa powder
80ml Melted Butter
65g Sugar

Method:

Break the wafers into crumbs either in a food processor or by placing in a strong plastic bag and hitting with a rolling pin or mallet.

Tip the biscuit crumbs it a bowl then stir in the sugar and cocoa powder to mix. Pour over the melted butter and stir thoroughly to combine. Turn the mixture into a buttered 22cm springform cake tin and press into the base and half way up the sides of the tin. Transfer to an oven pre-heated to 175°C and bake for 8 minutes, or until golden. Set aside to cool completely before filling.
