Ingredients:
4 tbsp evaporated milk
600g icing sugar
black or red liquorice laces (string liquorice)
Method:
Cut the liquorice into small rounds to use as noses, eyes and moths then set aside.
Add the milk to a bowl then slowly stir-in the sugar until it has all been incorporated (you will end up with a thick mixture). Turn this onto a work surface lightly dusted with icing sugar and knead with your hands until the dough is smooth and elastic (if should resemble playdough).
Tear off bits of the sugar mixture and shape into ghosts then use the liquorice to decorate with eyes, noses and mouths (you should end up with about 10 ghosts).
