Ingredients:
400g flour
100g sugar
700g cornmeal
100g powdered milk
3 tsp baking powder
2 tsp salt
2 eggs
1l water
Method:
Add the water to a bowl and whisk-in the salt, eggs, powdered milk, sugar and baking powder. Continue mixing until completely smooth.
Combine the cornmeal and flour and slowly add to the milk powder mix, whisking all the while. Continue beating the mixture until smooth then pour into a well-greased baking tin. Place in an oven pre-heated to 140°C and bake for about 50 minutes, or until the corn bread is golden brown on top and a skewer inserted into the centre emerges cleanly.
