Here is a way of simply cooking fresh or frozen white fish fillets in the air fryer so you obtain fish cooked with a crispy outside but a soft and flaky inside.

Ingredients:

800g (1 1/3 lbs) fillets fresh/frozen (cod would be typical, but you can use any fish)
1 tbsp vegetable/olive oil
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp paprika
½ tsp onion powder
Salt and freshly-ground black Pepper to taste

Method:

If frozen, completely defrost the fish before seasoning. I’m using fresh angelfish so I’ve washed them and dried them with a clean kitchen towel; you can also use a paper towel for this process.

Put the fish fillets in a bowl and add all the spices (oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper) coat it well, and set aside.

Pre-heat your air fryer to 200°C (400°F) for 2-3 minutes.

Place the seasoned fish fillets in the air fryer basket, set in your pre-heated air fryer and cook for 15 minutes.

Remove the fish from the air-fryer and serve with your favourite dips and lemon wedges.
