Cynhwysion:

275g o flawd plaen
175g o fenyn
125g o siwgwr caster brown
50g o gnau almwnd wedi eu malu
1 llwy de o rinflas fanila
1 ŵy cyfan
melynwy 1 ŵy

Dull:

Gosodwch y blawd mewn powlen yna ciwbiwch y menyn a'i rwbio i fewn i'r blawd nes fod y gymysgedd yn debyg i friwsion bara. Ychwanegwch y siwgwr a'r almwn cyn torri'r ŵy cyfan i'r gymysgedd ac ychwanegu'r melynwy a'r rhinflas fanila. Curwch yn drwyadl i wneud toes (dylai fod yn debyg i marsipan). Rholiwch allan ar wyneb blawdiog a torrwch siapiau Nadoligaidd ohono. Gosodwch rhain ar hambwrdd pobi weid ei iro yna trosglwyddwch i bopty wedi ei gyn-gynhesu i 180°C a choginiwch am 8 munud, nes fod y bisgedi yn euraidd ysgafn. Gadewch iddynt oeri ar resel gwifren cyn gweini neu chadw.

English Translation


Ingredients:

275g plain flour
175g butter
125g brown caster sugar
50g ground almonds
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 whole egg
1 egg yolk

Method:

Place in a flour then dice the butter and rub into the flour with your fingertips until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs.

Stir in the sugar and ground almonds before breaking in the egg and adding the egg yolk and vanilla extract. Beat thoroughly to form a dough (this should be similar in consistency to marzipan).

Roll the dough out on a floured work surface then cut with a knife (or pastry cutters) into rounds or Christmas shapes. Transfer these to a greased baking tray then place in an oven pre-heated to 180°C and bake for 8 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown in colour.

Transfer to a wire rack to cool before serving or storing.
